In-Office Teeth Whitening

White, dazzling, shiny teeth are the building blocks of an amazing smile. No matter how conscientious you are about brushing and flossing, some discoloration and yellowing will naturally occur as time goes on.  Tobacco and caffeine are usually also leading factors of staining.  Whitening treatments are available in stores, but their effectiveness is very limited. Investing in our in-office teeth whitening system will give you quicker and longer lasting results.

Over-the-counter products might be cheaper than our in-office whitening, but you will be much more pleased with the results you see with us. Professional teeth whitening have major advantages over the products sold in stores or online.  First of all, professional teeth whitening systems use high quality materials and a custom-designed tray, made specifically for you, for better results than any over-the-counter whitening system could provide.

Also, unlike over-counter-whitening products, with in-office teeth whitening, the procedure is one office visit and the results are immediate.  In most cases, we can whiten your teeth several different shades in just 2 hours.

You will first come to our office for a consultation and impressions for your custom fitted bleaching tray.  You will then return to the office for the actual in-office teeth whitening.  We will first retract your cheeks, tongue and lips.  We then will place a material over your gums to protect them from the bleaching agent as well.  From there we will place the bleaching agent on your teeth.  A light crystal is then placed in front of your teeth to get the bleaching agent to activate.  We will often check on you and place some more bleaching agent.

Finally, at the end of your appointment, the bleaching agent will be rinsed from your teeth, and the material protecting your gums will be removed.  You will now have a more beautiful, whiter smile!

To continue getting an even whiter smile, you can use the bleaching agent from our office in the custom guard the dentist made you.
